Kuro-Flow runs fully autonomously — it opens, manages and closes trades without any intervention. You do not need to analyse charts or make trading decisions. However, a basic understanding of MT5 and your broker or prop firm's rules is recommended before going live, especially on a funded challenge.
Yes. Kuro-Flow has been personally verified on The5ers, GoatFunded and ACGMarkets. For other prop firms, the EA's session and range filters can be adjusted to comply with specific drawdown or news trading rules. We recommend testing compatibility on a trial account before running a paid challenge.
We recommend a minimum of $10,000 (or equivalent prop firm capital). At 0.5% risk per trade, this allows the EA to size positions correctly without over-leveraging. The EA will run on smaller accounts but results may deviate from the backtest parameters.
Any broker offering MT5, USDJPY with spreads below 2 pips, and automated trading allowed. We personally recommend The5ers, GoatFunded and ACGMarkets. Avoid brokers with minimum holding times, no-EA policies or excessive slippage on USDJPY.
Each license is tied to one MT5 account number. If you need to run it on a second account, a separate subscription is required. To migrate to a different account, contact us at licencias@kuro-flow.com — we will expire the old key and issue a new one for your new account number.
No — MT5 only needs to be running during the EA's active session windows. Kuro-Flow operates within two defined daily time ranges. Outside those windows, the EA does not trade and your terminal does not need to be connected. A VPS is still recommended for reliability during those windows.
Yes, and it is strongly recommended. A VPS ensures MT5 is running and connected during the EA's active windows without depending on your personal computer. Install MT5 on the VPS, copy the EA file, attach it to the chart and enter your license key — the setup is identical to a local machine.
The included optimized set file is configured for the M5 (5-minute) chart on USDJPY. That said, you are free to run your own backtests and experiment with different timeframes or parameters — the EA supports it. Just note that the verified results and certificates correspond to the M5 configuration.
Kuro-Flow does not have a built-in automatic news filter. However, the session time inputs can be manually adjusted to avoid windows around high-impact USD/JPY events such as NFP or BOJ decisions — the recommended approach for prop firm accounts with strict news trading rules.
The system is designed around 1 high-quality trade per day. Each trade must meet all session, range and direction filters before the EA enters. Some days there will be no trades if conditions are not met — quality over quantity.
